Accra Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Great Olympics midfielder, Gladson Awako.

The club has also announced the signings of Samartex midfielder Benjamin York, Medeama attacker Agyenim Boateng, former WAFA youngster Suraj Seidu and Salim Adams from New Edubiase.

The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner signed a two-year contract with an option for a 3rd year.

Awako, 30, was instrumental for cross-town rivals Accra Great Olympics, in the 2020/2022 Ghana Premier League season, contributing a combined 23 goals and assists in all competitions as the club romped to a 6th place finish.

He is expected to bolster Samuel Boadu’s squad in their CAF Champions League campaign this season.

Suraj, 20, joined from Tema United, where he had been before his loan move to Division One League side Phar Rangers.

The skillful midfielder has had trials in Belgium as a teenager.

Boateng meanwhile joins the Phobians as a free agent, after leaving Medeama Sporting Club, with the 25 year old having spent four years in Tarkwa.

Salim Adams spent last season at Division One League side New Edubiase.

Yorke was previously linked with Kumasi Asante Kotoko earlier this year before deciding to sign for the Phobians.
